What is the difference between catch-up and clean-up bookkeeping?

The difference between catch-up and clean-up is that catch-up involves updating financial records that are behind schedule. Clean-up involves organizing (reviewing and correcting) existing financial records.

Do I need to install any software for Mera Bookkeeping services?

No need for installations. Mera Bookkeeping offers cloud-based accounting solutions, providing you with convenient access to your financial data without the hassle of software installations. Access your information securely from anywhere.

Do you give quotes over the phone?

No. We do not give quotes over the phone. We emailed the quotes to the email you provided.

Do you process payroll?

No. We do not process payroll, W-2, tax prep, 1099-Misc, or 1099 NEC at this time. We do Payroll Setup.

How long does clean-up take?

Clean-up takes about 30, 60, or 90 days to complete, depending on what your business needs. Once we have all the required information from you we will start the clean-up process which includes categorizing transactions and reconciling accounts. Then we work with you monthly to ensure you don't fall behind again.

What is Diagnostic Review?

A diagnostic review is a comprehensive evaluation process used to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges within a specific area of a business, project, or system. It involves a detailed analysis to assess the current state, uncover potential issues, and recommend actionable improvements.

Do you offer a contract?

Yes. We do offer contract month to month as well as yearly contract.

What is Accounting?

Accounting refers to analyzing, reporting, and summarizing a business’s transactions.

What type of accounting software do you use?

We only use QuickBooks Online.
